1. How it all began

The website is live! Yet another step towards the dream. The dream every indie writer has. We want our book out there. We want our words to be heard.
Heck, who knew this would be so hard and great at the same time? Who knew a review could make my day and break my heart? Who knew that this would turn into a 24/7 thing?

Let me start at the beginning. Summer 2019. 
I was not in a great place at work. I needed a hobby. I needed a thing that would inspire me again. I had lost my mojo. 
So, I was searching what that thing could be. I puzzled. I crafted. I read. 
Then one day I finished a book with a horrible ending. Like, seriously.. worst ending ever. (The rest of the book was great though, and now that I have written a book I know just how freaking hard it is..) 
Anyways. I turned towards my husband (Jurjen. My love.) and asked, “Think I could write a book?” 
It was more as a joke. I mean, which dyslectic girl ever thinks she actually can pull this off? Well.. he thought I could. Full heartedly he said.. “YES! as long as you have a story to tell and a message to share.”

And that, my lovely readers, is how it all began. 

I did not start writing because I had this big dream. I was not even expecting to share the story with anyone. It was for me. This whole project was for me. And now, it is for you too. 

Because we can all use a reminder of our strength sometimes.

Thank you for reading my books - my blog. I promise I will do my very best in giving you worthy books. I promise for you, but also for me. Because dang, this has been the greatest, scariest, hardest thing I have done in a long time!
